Print Hall, located in the heritage listed Newspaper House on St Georges Terrace Perth, has become a landmark bar and restaurant unfolding over four levels.
Paying respect to the buildings important printing history and Art Deco glory, Ayus Botanical once again team with Architects Projects of Imagination to integrate a variety of green landscaping components within the restoration of this grand space.
From the ground floor open plan bar and restaurant dominated by a vertical garden of tropical plants in the central atrium, to the Rooftop Bar named “Bob’s Bar’ (after former Australian Prime Minister, Bob Hawke), greenscaping the extensive restoration within the confines of a busy CBD location offers its challenges. Chilly night time craning of the Ulmus parvifolia (Chinese Elm) and planter boxes of Myrsine africana, are mere logistics when transforming the rooftop into a living, breathing, green oasis within the bustling city skyline.
